In the Fall of 2022, I had the fortunate opportunity to visit my sister who was studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark (see more here). Upon our arrival, my family traveled first to Stockholm, Sweden for a weekend. I admired the city’s attributes - embodying a stimulating, inspiring mix of historic and modern: quaint, charming, and romantic yet dynamic, innovative, and evolving. We packed many sites and activities into our two-day stay — from wandering the cobblestone streets and gabled buildings, to exploring several museums, to dining in the local cafes. We traveled at a special time, leading up to the winter holidays —the city was beautifully decorated with festive lights, ornaments, and markets. It even snowed during our time there!
